Another Sign the .fedgov Is Too Big
For those who live outside DC and know nothing about the freeways around here, there is currently a major project underway to expand the capacity of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, which carries I-95 across the Potomac from Virginia into DC.
It's being expanded from 3 lanes each way to SIX. That's right, SIX lanes of interstate in each direction.
How much less expansive would it be to cut the size of the government enough to reduce the traffic to the point where the current bridge could handle it?
