I want to find an all original, 1943 Inland M1 carbine under some stairs, too.

Remix
Stuck Mojo has a remix of Open Season with an intro that goes after CAIR head on. With with lyrics now on the screen for you to read. Plus they cite all their sources.
Now, a rhetorical question, to which I, and most of you, already know the answer: if CAIR was a Christian group, complaining about a some band's song that they said was anti-Christian and stirring up hate against Christians, does anyone doubt that the entertainment industry would be rallying around them, crying censorship? And yet they are silent. Are they hypocrites, or are they just afraid, because, unlike Christians (or at least the vast, vast majority of them) Muslins have exhibited a profound tendency to riot, burn things, and blow things up when offended? (In other words, to do their best to live up to the stereotype that Islam is a religion of violent, mysogynist, sociopathic assholes.)

Aggravation
So, I'm all set up to start handloading some 7.62x54R. Got my Rockchucker set up, got 100 Lapua cases, 100 primers, 100 Sierra bullets and 50 Woodleighs.
I pull the digital calipers out, press the ON button, and...nothing. Battery's dead. Now I have to find a new tiny battery.
Well, I can least get the powder thrower dialed in. One less thing to do once I get the battery.
Not so fast, High Speed. My formerly trusty RCBS 5-0-5 scale, mechanical balance, really, is now Non-Mission Capable. Won't go to Zero, no matter how much I adjust it. Probably got dorked up during one of the moves since I last used it.
At least I've got 25 primed cases (what the case tray holds) ready to go.

2) Cities, towns, counties, and other municipalities may enact laws and ordinances: -------------- (b) Restricting the possession of firearms in any stadium or convention center, operated by a city, town, county, or other municipality, except that such restrictions shall not apply to:
(i) Any pistol in the possession of a person licensed under RCW 9.41.070 or exempt from the licensing requirement by RCW 9.41.060;
If that says what I think it says, I can (with my LCCP) take said pistol into Key Arena, Qwest Field, SafeCo Field, the Tacoma Dome, etc. And the most the security goons can do is be annoyed.

Not All Musicians Are Lefty Loonies
H/T to LGFStuck Mojo has apparently garnered the ire of CAIR for their song "Open Season" (video below). A refreshing change from others of their genre, such as KMFDM and System of a Down, who spew America-hatred in their songs.
The lyrics, for those of us who are rap-challenged:
I speak peace when peace is spoken, But I speak war when your hate is provoking, The season is open 24-7-365, Man up yo time to ride, No need to hide behind slogans of deceit, Claiming that you're a religion of peace, We just don't believe you, We can clearly see through, The madness that you're feeding your people, Jihad the cry of your unholy war, Using the willing, the weak and poor, From birth drowning in propaganda, rhetoric and slander, All we can say is damn ya
My forefathers fought and died for this here I'm stronger than your war of fear Are we clear? If you step in my hood It's understood It's open season
I don't need a faith that's blind, Where death and hate bring me peace of mind, With views that are stuck deep in the seventh century, So much sand in your eyes to blind to see, The venom that you leaders preach, Is the path to your own destruction, Your own demise, You might say that I don't understand but your disgust for me is what I realize, Surprise! Your homicidal ways has got the whole world watching, Whole world scoping, So if you bring it to my home base, Best believe it, The season's open
I see you, Hell yeah I see you, Motherfucker naw, I don't wanna be you, If you come to my place, I'll drop more than just some bass, Yo you'll get a taste of a, Sick motherfucker from the Dirty, I ain't worrying not a fucking bit, I'm telescoping like Hubble, Yo you in trouble, Yo on the double, I'm wild with mine, Bring that style with mine, Fuck with my family I'll end your life, Just the way it is, Just the way it be, Do you understand? No matter if you're woman or man, or child, My profile is crazy, That shit you do doesn't amaze me, I'm ready to blaze thee
I don't give a damn what god you claim, I've seen the innocent that you've slain, On my streets you're just fair game, Like a pig walk to your slaughter, The heat here is so much hotter, And my views won't teeter totter or fluctuate, Step to me you just met your fate, And I'll annihilate, With the skill of a Shogun assassin, Slicing and dicing precise with a passion, In any shape form or fashion, Bring it to my home, Welcome to the danger zone, Cause your attitude's the reason, The triggers keep squeezing, The hunt is on and it's open season
It's Open Season -----------
All of the songs from their most recent album, including "Open Season," are available for free download on the website linked above. But I think I'm going to have to buy the CD, just because they hacked off CAIR. Such activity deserves support.

The Legislature Is In Session...
and thus liberty is once again in greater danger. Moreso since the Evil Party is now in total control.
And of course, the GFWs of the WA Democrat Party are already at work to undermine our liberty. Actually, they've already been at work-the bills I'm about to tell you about were pre-introduced (which also means they were submitted prior to last week's shooting at Foss High in Tacoma.)
First, we have 2007-2008 HB 1026,authored by the junior rep from my home district, the 22nd, Brendan Williams (GFSW-Evergreen State Commune), to make the law for private firearms transactions at gunshows different from anywhere else-in other words, to close the non-existant, so-called "gun show loophole." The bill would require all firearms transactions at gunshows to go through an FFL. Just like in the PRK-and we all know how effective it's been there. So effective that the murder rate in Oakland has been the subject of an ongoing series of articles in the San Francisco Chronicle. Note that while there is no provision for citizen comment on the Legislature's page on the bill (why would our betters in Olympia need to hear from us proles, anyway?), citizens are able to comment here, at WashingtonVotes.org. So, Washington gun owners, and those who believe in libertry and personal responsibility but don't own guns, I think you know what to do.
Next, we have 2007-2008 HB 1014, to require "safe storage" of firearms to keep them away from children. In other words, to require that you store your guns in such a manner that, should your home be invaded by violent criminals, you will be unable to operate them in time to stop the attack. Perhaps Mrs. Gregoire's allies have introduced this bill in order to keep some of those who voted for her from getting shot while pursuing their avocation. Once again, comments can be made at WashingtonVotes.
Now, would either of these bills, had they been law, have prevented last week's murder at Foss High? The answer, of course, is no, they wouldn't have.
The alleged shooter (confessed shooter, according to courtdocuments), like 99.3% of criminals, didn't get his gun at a gun show. (Link courtesy of Andrew's Dad.) The gun that the shooter had on him at the time of his arrest, probably the one that was used in the murder, was stolen in 1999. And according to this story from the Seattle Times, it was stolen from a safe. So much for the effectiveness of "safe storage" laws.
Just for fun, let's look at the laws that the Foss murderer violated:
1. Possession of a handgun by a person under the age of 21 2. Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person (history of mental illness) 3. Possession of a firearm on school property 4. Unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits 5. Possession of stolen property 6. Murder. Minor little thing, that.
He also allegedly was involved in selling firearms for profit without a federal license, which could put him in a federal prison after he does his time in Walla Walla.
So, anyone think that someone who was willing to break six, possibly seven, laws would be deterred by one or two more?
